	Similar to “Heirloom”, this style incorporates even more personalized designs & motifs to enhance your quilt top. I may design a one-of-a-kind motif for a particular space or utilize free-motion techniques to fill spaces with coordinating designs. This is a wonderful way to accent a special top.

	Trapunto
	This labor-intensive technique is usually reserved for very special quilts, many of which will become family treasures. Separate pices of batting, cut to the same shape as the quilted motifs are inserted on top of the “base” batting, sewn around & then cut away, leaving only the desired shape. The top is then quilted using very dense filler stitches, leaving the shapes “puffy” & visually dominant.
